Furniture Reupholstery

Reupholstering Furniture with craft and quality

Since 1996, Navascues Upholstery has been committed to providing a premium quality upholstery service. Business owner and founder, Patrick Navascues, has been restoring, re-upholstering, and building beautiful furniture since 1973. For nearly 5 decades, he has continued to develop the skills, knowledge and passion necessary to deliver the highest quality of work.

Patrick and his team at Navascues Upholstery are capable of completing any upholstery work a customer may require, always to the same high standard on which he has built his business reputation. With a vast and varied portfolio of work within both residential and commercial spaces, there is no request too wild or complicated.

Drop by for a look at our Preston showroom and discuss your needs. We have a large range of quality fabrics and leather from top Australian and overseas suppliers including Warwick Fabrics, Charles Parsons, Zepel and Wortley to name a few. Patrick and the team can advise on appropriate fabric selection and interior aesthetics.

Quality craftsmanship

Whether you have a unique piece or large-scale project, Navascues Upholstery has the experience and reputation you can trust. Our customers come from all over Melbourne to visit our Preston showroom. Some of the areas we most commonly service include; Hawthorn, Heidelberg, Ivanhoe, Brunswick, Carlton, Coburg, Collingwood, East Melbourne, Kew, Northcote, Reservoir, Richmond, South Yarra, Thornbury and Toorak.

Over the years, Navascues Upholstery has trained three female apprentices that have all achieved the Apprentice of the Year award at various year levels, during their apprenticeships. We continue to employ and train apprentices to ensure that this dying trade continues into the future with the same level of quality craftsmanship.

REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE

We strongly believe that re-upholstery and recycling go hand in hand. By extending the life of furniture through re-upholstering, you prolong the life of the product. As a result, you minimise the need for additional resources and energy to manufacture new furniture.

At Navascues Upholstery, we do our very best to protect the environment at all stages of running our business. We consider ourselves avid recyclers and are constantly introducing new measures to reduce our carbon footprint.

Broadsheet

Patrick Navascues may be responsible for some of the oldest and comfiest seats around, but he’s one of few traditional upholsterers left in Melbourne, and it’s a dying trade.
